Designed a provider/consumer plugin system to carve a standalone app-shell out of the platform: stripped non-essential UI plugins and satisfied their dependency-injection tokens with placeholder plugins so the shell resolves without them (module federation). • Led the platform's AI-integration path, building Datanout — a notebook-native LLM assistant with a LangGraph tool-calling agent, human-in-the-loop approval, an MCP client, and cross-session memory. • Maintain and extend the platform's JupyterLab frontend extension (custom file browser, dialog-queue system, and a custom dozen-component React/TypeScript widget library on Lumino) as a primary author of the core plugin entry point. • Refactored a large coordinator class into focused single-responsibility delegates (roughly halving the core) with zero behavior change, and reworked the test suite onto real fixtures with near-zero mocks across round-trip, integration, and end-to-end flows. • Hardened the platform's filesystem and persistence layers (Python) against path-traversal, symlink, Server-Side Request Forgery (SSRF), and environment-variable injection: atomic audited writes and per-tenant session isolation. • Implemented a ZeroMQ log transport between the platform's JupyterLab server extensions (async queue to PostgreSQL), and contributed to migrating its data-transform packages to async. • Developed a typed bidirectional Remote Procedure Call (RPC) bridge over postMessage connecting the Tornado notebook platform to a React/Vite analytics app across three hosting modes (iframe, reverse-proxied SPA, embedded Lumino panel), secured with an HMAC-SHA256 grant-token flow. • Develop and maintain the platform's multi-step data-pipeline wizard (Python) on a reusable step-orchestration framework (validation gates, draft persistence, queue-based transform execution) and its React Flow graph editor with a two-way ipywidgets/React state-sync layer that prevents echo loops; a primary owner. • Built PanelBoom, an internal design-to-code tool: two Python MCP servers (Figma REST API to Panel/Python codegen across 26 widgets, CI on three Python versions) plus a Next.js/Flask web app.
